Academy tryouts are usually carried out after April, 30 (end of the hockey season) or in season camps. If you chose the Summer August Camp for your tryouts, it is important to understand that if your goal is to sign an Agreement with a club, you will have to bring a complete package of documents with you to let you register the child on the territory of a European state.
Apart from excellence on ice and physical fitness, which will have to be demonstrated, the coaches also look at communicative skills, attention, openness, readiness to participate in team play and follow the orders of the coach, as well ask logical thinking and stress resistance. All this is assessed during 5-14 days they spend on ice, in the gym, in the training center, on ice sheets, and during the tryouts; their level is also analyzed using video materials from the tryouts.
