Attention to all prospective players at the Football Academy FC Slovan for the 2024-2025 season!!!
Trials at the academy strictly take place after April 30, 2024 (the end date of the season), or as part of the seasonal pre-season training camp - the Summer Selection Camp for the 2024-2025 season. It can last up to 2 weeks. If a player shows promise, the coaching council recommends the player to stay until the end of the pre-season training on June 28, 2024.
Additionally, if due to circumstances you could not attend the pre-season team training in your category from May to the end of June and did not visit any pre-season camps, then the last option for a player to join the academy is an individual TRY OUT during the second part of the pre-season training with their Category team in August.
It is also very important to understand that, when counting on signing a contract with the Academy and the team, you must arrive with a complete set of documents that will allow your child to be legalized on the territory of the European state in the shortest possible time. In addition to the skills and physical preparation that need to be demonstrated, coaches assess communication skills, attentiveness, openness, readiness for teamwork and coach's instructions, logical thinking skills, and stress resistance. All of this is evaluated over the course of 7 days, but coaches may need more time, in the gym, in the athletic hall, on the playing fields, during game viewing and analysis on video.
GYMNASIUM TESTING

All entrance state exams at the Academy (private bilingual gymnasium) for those entering the U-17 playing category and above, which corresponds to the level of the 1st gymnasium class of secondary school (10th grade), must be taken strictly in April 2024!!! And the application to take the exams and tests must be officially submitted by March 20, 2024.
All other applicants entering the initial private bilingual school take transfer verification tests - these are 8th grade, 7th grade, 6th grade.
In the gymnasium, children will have to take a test in mathematics, where tasks are offered in English, and a test on the level of English.
The number of tasks completed in the 2 tests must be no less than 70%.
Upon completing the 8th grade of primary school, the student takes a transition exam for gymnasium classes: mathematics, English language, and Slovak language. Upon admission to the 1st gymnasium class, the student will continue to receive secondary education for a period of 5 years, after which they will receive a "Vesvedcenie o maturitnej skuske" diploma.
