About Our Program
Our hockey education program combines proven, successful training processes with advanced Canadian methodologies and systems. We strive to develop all the necessary skills for hockey players of various ages and levels of experience.
Training Schedule for Junior (Grades 6–7) and Senior (Grades 8–9) Students
- Daily Training (Monday through Friday):
- 1 hour of general physical conditioning.
- 1 to 1.15 hours of on-ice training.
- Additional Sessions for Senior Students:
- 2–3 hours of on-ice training per week.
- Two weekly matches to reinforce game skills.
Training Schedule for U-18
- Daily Training (Monday through Friday):
- 2 hours of overall physical conditioning.
- 2 hours of on-ice training—one session in the morning and one in the evening.
- Weekend Game Program:
- Home or away games as part of the Slovak Open Championship.
Key Areas of the Training Process
- Physical Conditioning:
- Development of explosive power.
- Increase in speed.
- Improvement of endurance and agility.
- Skating:
- Refinement of skating technique.
- Focus on balance, stride, and acceleration.
- Practice of starts, turns, and transitions, including backward skating.
- Stick Handling:
- Techniques for puck control, passing, and shooting.
- Drills to perfect various shooting styles:
- From a stationary position.
- On the move.
- While skating.
- Using the wrists.
- Snap shots.
Game Schedule
The game program includes between 25 to 60 matches per year, which also encompasses participation in leading hockey tournaments across Europe.
