Main Objectives of the Academy

  • Preparing Professional Footballers:
    We develop athletes capable of competing at the international level.
  • Developing Young Talent:
    We actively search for and support promising players.
  • Quality Education:
    We place special emphasis on both school and professional education, including intensive study of foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish).
  • Personal Development:
    We nurture well-rounded individuals.
  • Theoretical and Practical Preparation:
    We teach the rules of football, sports psychology, training theory, health education, sociology, and stress management.

Key Aspects of Footballer Preparation

  • Strength:
    Muscle strength increases most intensively between the ages of 12–15, with peak development occurring between 15–18 years.
  • Endurance:
    The ability to sustain prolonged physical exertion develops actively between the ages of 15–17.
  • Speed:
    Football requires frequent accelerations and rapid changes of direction, which are especially trained during the adolescent years.

Individual Approach

Each Academy team employs its own methodologies to achieve the best results.

  • The training and match schedule is customized and provided after successfully passing the Try Out.

Additional Opportunities

  • Fitness Training:
    Senior classes regularly work out in the Academy’s gym.
  • Fit STaRZ Membership:
    This allows athletes to independently plan their gym sessions with the option to work with professional trainers.
  • Strength and Static Training:
    These sessions are conducted twice a week under the guidance of one of Slovakia’s top fitness coaches.
